Our local service: This guide is for apartment owners in Rose Bay in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Please check our listed service areas before enquiring about another suburb.

Will new walls make the old ceilings and trim stand out?
They can. Before choosing a walls-only scope, look at the ceilings, door frames and skirting beside the colour you intend to use. A fresh wall colour can change how an existing warm white or aged enamel reads. That does not mean everything must be repainted, but the decision is easier before work begins.
Ask for the full scope and any smaller option to be set out separately. Then you can see what you are leaving as it is, and what a later stage would involve. Compare the finish you want across the whole room, not only the wall area.
How do doors, window trim and joinery affect the quote?
Detailed surfaces can involve significant preparation and finishing even when they occupy little floor space. Count the door faces, frames, skirting and window components you want included. Built-in cabinetry or wardrobe doors should be named individually rather than assumed to be part of “all woodwork”.
Different existing coatings and materials may need different preparation. Show the painter any sticking doors, chips or loose paint so the scope can distinguish painting from repairs outside the agreed work.
Should I choose the white before requesting a price?
You can begin the quote process before settling on a colour. Explain whether you expect a similar shade or a substantial change. Final product and colour decisions should be confirmed in time for the work to be planned.
View samples in your actual Rose Bay rooms, beside flooring, curtains and cabinetry. Check them at different times of day. A colour chosen from a screen or another property may look different in your own light. Colour advice is included with a Proview painting project.
What does a clear Rose Bay apartment quote look like?
It identifies the rooms and surfaces, preparation, specified finishes and exclusions. It also records practical access and furniture arrangements. If you are comparing a walls-only refresh with a full interior, keep those options separate rather than comparing two totals that describe different jobs.
Our Billyard Avenue apartment project in Elizabeth Bay shows an actual completed Proview interior; it is an example of our work, not a Rose Bay price comparison. See our Rose Bay painting service and the Sydney apartment cost guide to prepare your brief.
Frequently asked questions
Is cabinetry included in a full apartment repaint?
Only when listed in the scope. Cabinet doors, wardrobe surfaces and other joinery should be identified separately with the preparation and finish proposed.
Can I ask for walls-only and full-interior options?
Yes. Ask for each option to list the included surfaces and preparation so the difference is clear.
Does the suburb itself set the painting price?
No. The property’s surfaces, condition, detail, products and access determine the work to be quoted. A suburb label is not a substitute for assessing the apartment.
